Dr.Osama Shabash

Dr. Shabash attended the University of Tripoli – Faculty of Medicine in Tripoli, Libya, and graduated in 2000. In 2008 he also was awarded the certification in family medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. And in 2020 was recognized as a fellow by the college of family physicians of Canada , in recognition of his contribution and dedication to family medicine throughout his career,maintaining an outstanding level of professionalism and patient advocacy as well his contributions to the medical society at large.

Dr. Shabash remains active in his field as an active member of the Canadian Medical Association and the Ontario Medical Association. He was additionally involved with LMCC Medical Committee, which provides care for war injured patients in Libya and Canada. Dr. Shabash acted as the Medical Director of the Libyan Medical Committee in Canada (LMCC), the Lead Physician of the Libyan Canadian Medical Association (LCMA) primary care project in Libya, and he is an active member of the physician advisory group at Seamless Care to Optimize the Patient Experience (SCOPE).

Dr. Shabash is a Family Physician, practicing with HealthChoice Centres in Toronto, Ontario, where he serves as President and Lead Physician. With his fellow physicians, Dr. Shabash treats patients utilizing innovative diagnostic and treatment techniques. Specialized treatment includes Laboratory services, immunization, injections, cardiology testing, chronic disease management, and respiratory examinations, among many other services and procedures. With an on-site pharmacy, the HealthChoice Centres aims to provide the most convenient experience to each patient. Dr. Shabash and his colleagues are committed to providing respect to their patients, along with knowledge and expertise. Their goal is to work together with patients in order to develop the best individualized care plan possible.

Attributing his success to his interest in helping others and providing patient advocacy, Dr. Shabash dedicates to reading, history, and being active with non-profit patient advocacy projects.
